What is SUP Health?

We know through Stand Up Paddle (SUP) that your health will improve, mind and body. Which ever way you choose to SUP;  floating or paddling you’re health will improve. The simple act of been outside stimulates every sense we have, and promotes a relaxing and distressed lifestyle. With SUP you can choose you level of comfort or challenge your self to a unique and truly Yukon experience. Where would you want to start? Have a look at ou programs and see what best fits your life style.

Stand Up paddle yoga

Stand Up Paddle Yoga is the fastest growing area in the SUP community. SUP Yoga can be whatever you want it to be.  Whether you're looking to get your dose of nature bathing (out-door meditation if you prefer) or a challenging workout. Go at your own pace and pick variations of poses and movements lead by our wonderful instructor. You don't even need SUP experience. We will give you a quick SUP tutorial before heading out on the water.

Stand Up Paddle board? The greatest sport on earth! What can you learn form taking a lesson? We will show you how make effective turns, balance easier thought some basic stances and show you how to paddle in a straight line. We also show you how to get back on the board if you choose to go for that swim after a hot day of paddling n the sun. Don't forget to you will get introduced the amazing community of Stand Up Paddle and all the great people in it.

We believe at Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Yukon that any age can SUP and that as we get older, we have even more reasons to stay active. Did you know that SUP is activity that has very low impact on your body, and at the same time SUP has an amazing way to help fix those aches and pains from old injuries or just plain soreness? Not only will you feel better;  you will learn a new skill improving your neuroplasticity in your brain. This process never stop as you brain is constantly adapting to the balance of the board. Speaking of balance, did you know balance is one of the most underrated and taking for granted skills we lose as we get older. I know every professional preaches maintain your strength and all will be better, but if you don't have the balance for it. Maintain that strength can put you in a situation where an injury can take place? Increased blood flow, balance, cardio, neuroplasticity for that brain work out. Get off that couch and join us for that outdoor vitamins. Nature Bathing as we like to call it.

SUP Yoga

This activity is a great way to challenge your core by adding more levels of balance and movement as you immerse yourself in truly unique SUP Yukon environment. SUP Yoga can be whatever you want it to be.  Whether you're looking for quiet meditation or a challenging workout. Go at your own pace and pick variations of poses and movements lead by our wonderful instructor. You don't even need SUP experience. We will give you a quick SUP tutorial before heading out on the water.
